T2 stands for Training Tribe, and it’s The Lifetime Body’s outdoor group fitness program. T2 employs advanced scientific training principles in a supportive team environment to 10x health, fitness and peak performance.
In 2019, T2 will be featuring two courses that meet in a twice per week class format. Session 1, SPEED CAMP, will run from May 14th through June 24th. Session 2, DURABEAST, will begin on July 15th and conclude on August 22nd.
T2 registration opens several weeks in advance of the session start dates. The course is limited to 24 participants, first-come, first-served. Just hit the schedule button at the bottom of the page, but be sure to read through the following information first!
About SPEED CAMP: This is a progressive, intermediate/advanced program that is focused on developing maximum speed, explosive power, and athletic agility. SPEED CAMP emphasizes the optimization of running technique, full-body conditioning, and high levels of functional mobility. Training, education, and informal competition are blended into a fun, results-oriented atmosphere. This course is for athletes wanting to improve their sprinting and jumping abilities, and seasoned exercisers who are seeking to restore or refine their speed mechanics. Entry-level qualifying criteria are listed below. These are necessary to ensure your success and safety. As of Day 1, all participants should be capable of performing and possessing all of the following components, without technique failure, injury, or exhaustion:
- Walk 3 miles at any speed
- Jog 1 mile without stopping, no walking
- Sprint (no matter how slowly) 40 yards on grass
- 10 bodyweight squats to 90-degree knee bend
- 10 pushups off knees or feet
- 1 pullup or 20-second dead hang
- 1 jump onto 6-inch height with correct propulsion
- 1 jump off 6-inch height with proper landing/absorption
- Hop 10x in place on each foot
- Willingness to do some barefoot running on grass
- A voracious appetite for training
- A teamwork attitude
SPEED CAMP is open to ages 18 and up. Footwear and equipment recommendations, and other instructions will be provided to all registrants prior to the beginning of the course. All sessions meet in beautiful Belgrade, Montana.
About DURABEAST: This is the ultimate comprehensive outdoor training experience. Participants will combine advanced health and fitness education with functional training in strength, endurance, mobility, agility, and all-around durability. You’ll focus on unleashing your inner BEAST while having a blast training with your tribe in a team environment. All classes meet in beautiful Belgrade, Montana on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:30pm, with additional bonus meetings thrown in to include popular mountain workouts and hormetic stream plunges! Challenge yourself, have some fun, and achieve your best condition ever!
